You have probably already seen many beautiful aquascapes that are backlit with a light panel. The resulting 3D effect is beautiful to look at and an absolute highlight for any aquarium.
For every aquarium?
However, the majority of all aquariums have an aquarium cover and do not have the basic dimensions of an aquascaping aquarium. This means that installing a backlight has not been an option for the majority of aquariums to date.
With the daytime® backlights, precisely dimensioned to fit JUWEL and EHEIM aquariums, this is now a thing of the past!
Of course, a wide range of standard sizes for open aquariums and “pool” tanks is also available.
And typical for daytime®: customized – we manufacture and supply backlights in any size from 30 x 15 – 300 x 100 cm on request !

backlight Features
Scope of delivery
Each daytime® backlight is supplied with a power supply unit, dimming module and brackets suitable for the respective aquarium.
Aluminum frame
The sturdy frame is made of solid, anodized aluminium. Precise cutting and assembly are carried out in our own factory.
Glass size
The size is adapted precisely and to the millimeter to the respective glass dimensions of the aquarium backs.
“Invisible” brackets
Easy, tool-free installation thanks to the ingenious “latching and holding mechanism”. No visible brackets for a clean look in the front view of the aquarium.
Gradient panels
The gradient panel is made of acrylic glass with a thickness of 2 mm. This can be removed without tools and replaced with optionally available panels, e.g. in opal white.
Connecting cable
The cable outlet is deliberately routed inwards so that the backlight frame is flush with the aquarium floor (even if the footprint is larger than the aquarium!).
backlight dimming module (included)
With the manual backlight dimming module, the brightness can be optimally adjusted to the main lighting and the lighting conditions of the surroundings. It is simply plugged between the connecting cable and the power supply unit – plug & play. Operation in conjunction with a commercially available timer is recommended, which conveniently switches the backlight on and off automatically.
