Due to natural phenomena, which can often be attributed to global regions, but also due to biotope-specific influences, sunlight does not always reach the earth’s surface unchanged. For example, there are regions where a cloudless sky can hardly be observed. Another example is riparian zones that are covered by trees. We believe that trying to realize all conceivable lighting scenarios in one luminaire will always be a compromise. Either in terms of efficiency or light quality. This is why we decided from day one to individually adapt each daytime LED aquarium light to the natural conditions, where technically possible. In this way, an almost unlimited number of individual LED aquarium lights can be created from a manageable number of LED modules. In order to follow nature as far as possible, we have decided to utilize the technological possibilities of LEDs and develop 2 further LED modules that represent a step towards sunlight. By using 25% “Seoul Sunlike” in the white light component (see spectral diagram) on the SLF (Sunlike Fresh) and SLM (Sunlike Marine) modules, the short-wave light component (UV-A) is introduced and the dip in the light spectrum between blue and green is smoothed. These new LED modules will be available this fall for the daytime matrix and the new daytime pendix.

Dear aquarium enthusiasts, after looking at the PAR VALUE on 18.06.2018, today we are addressing another important chapter: The DIVERSITY OF (sun)LIGHT.
